When I was a child I always wanted to own my own restaurant, two years ago my dream came true. My uncle offered to sell me his small Italian restaurant for a good price, and I could not turn down the offer. I knew it was a difficult thing for him to do, but it did make him happy to turn it over to a member of the family. During the first few months things went very badly, there were problems with the chefs and the waiters; many of the regular patrons turned against me. I was very upset, but I knew that I could not turn back. Finally, after about six months I got better at my new job and the restaurant turned around completely. Slowly, the regulars began to turn up again, and by the time I had to turn in my records for the first year I could honestly say that I made a profit. Sometimes even the most difficult situations turn out well in the end.
