Relationships
Study the following vocabulary.
The public loves to follow celebrity relationships, and they love it even more when the relationships go bad. When someone accused David Beckham of hooking up with some girl and cheating on his wife Victoria, it made headlines. When Kobe Bryant was accused of rape, he bought his wife a large diamond ring to make it up to her. Again, it was on the nightly news. And if Ben Affleckbrushes off J-Lo at the next awards show, you can be sure that someone will take notice. When one celebrity hits on another, everyone knows; and if it turns out she was just stringing him along to further her career, everyone wants to read the article. There seems to be no better way to win over fans than to have a celebrity relationship, and a star-studded break-up!
