Ghosts stories from Japan

 

Two years ago the tsunami killed 20,000 people in Japan. Many people speak about ghosts in the area. One man says that he felt something cold around his body. And sometimes when he slept, something walked across him. Taxi drivers say that they don’t often go to the places where many people died during the tsunami. They are scared of ghosts.

Some people try to help those who have ghosts in their lives. Some people say that the ghost stories are only imagination. But nobody is able to say why there are so many stories about ghosts after the tsunami.

Men tried to steal money

 

In the middle of a hot day in Sydney, three thieves tried to steal money from a car. But they didn’t steal anything. A man on the other side of the street filmed the whole situation.

The thieves shot one man from the security but the men from security didn’t die. There were two men from security and they didn’t give any money to the thieves. The thieves had to go away in a car which was driven by a fourth man. Police are now looking for the thieves.

Camels lived in Canada

 

We all know that camels live in deserts. But it wasn’t always true. Millions of years ago they also lived in Canadian forests. People in Canada found the bones of a really big camel. It lived in Canada three and a half million years ago.

The big camel was like the modern camel but bigger. It didn’t have a problem with snow because it had really big feet. People think that the big camel was lost during the last ice age when it looked for warmer places to live.

Football player hit a referee

 

The life of a referee in football is not always easy. Sometimes they must give a red card and some players don’t like it. During a football match in Lebanon, a referee gave a red card to a player who wasn’t happy with the red card.

The player ran after the referee. The player tried to hit him. The referee tried to run away. The coach and other men also tried to hit the referee. He was really scared because they could kill him. But nobody killed the referee. One soldier was at the match. The soldier helped him. After this very bad moment the referee doesn’t want to be a referee in the future.

The world has new Pope

 

The world has a new pope. He is the first pope from Latin America. His name is Pope Francis. He is 76 years old. He lived a very simple life. He traveled by bus. He lived in a small flat in Buenos Aires. He cooked for himself.

He was born into a middle class family of seven people. His father was a railway worker. People think that the pope will be a strong pope. It is needed because the church had problems in the past with the child scandals and information about financial corruption.
