Study the following vocabulary.

Business people

boss – an employer or supervisor (note: "chief" or "chef" are NOT used in English to describe this position,"boss" is the standard expression)

owner – the person who has financial control of a business, company, firm, etc.

founder – the person who initially started or created a business, company, firm, etc.

entrepreneur – a person who starts or founds their own company,or starts many companies

magnate – someone in charge of a large business empire (a word often used in the media, also "mogul" or "tycoon")

executive – a high-level manager

non-executive director – high-level, outside specialist who helps in the running of a company (for example, CEO or Chairman)

board of directors – the body that includes all the directors of a company

CEO – the Chief Executive Officer of a company

CFO – the Chief Financial Officer of a company
