Car under water

A woman from Maryland, USA managed to save herself after her car fell out of a bridge right into water below.

Witnesses saw how she clung to rocks. They tried to calm her down and they also called for help. The 22-year-old driver is now back from the hospital and she's fine.

This is only the second time that a car fell out of this bridge. However, people started to talk about the bridge’s safety. There are two barriers but a third one may need to be built in the future.

Special clothes for sharks

Thanks to special new suits from Australia, surfers don't have to be afraid of sharks anymore.

Scientists and designers worked together and created these useful wetsuits. There are two types of them. The first type makes the person hard to see and the second one sends a message to the shark. It tells the shark that the man is no snack. The suits were tested with dummy torsos and the first results were pretty good.

If you're wondering how this is possible, the answer is quite simple. Sharks are colorblind and they can only see in shades of grey.

Difficult words: wetsuit (suit when you are in water), dummy (fake human), torso (center of human body), wonder (think).

It was one of the smaller sharks but it was still dangerous. Luckily, a guy who specialises in catching sharks helped. He fought with the shark and he got the situation under control.

Catching sharks is only a hobby for him so he didn't kill it. All of the people took some pictures and let the shark go back to the ocean. People at the beach had fun watching the battle, too.

Difficult words: guy (man), specialise (do something often and be good at it).
