Children are injured in Syria
There is a war in Syria. More than 30 000 people died in this war. The war began 20 months ago. Many of these people are children. Children cannot understand why there is a war.
People bring injured people to hospital. They bring many people but there are only 2 doctors in the hospital.
They have 10 to 15 children a day. They try to help them but children who lost their leg or arm often die. Children who don’t die will live with bad memories.

Man found a big eye
One man was walking on the beach. He saw a thing in the sand. He kicked the thing and it looked at him. It was a very big blue eye.
The big eye was found on a beach in Florida and became a hit on the internet.
People don’t know where the big eye came from. People think that it is an eye of one of the big sea animals.
The eye is now studied by experts.

Man jumps from space
A man from Austria jumped from 38 kilometres above the Earth.
He travelled at speeds of 1300 kilometres per hour. He was the first person who broke the speed of sound.
After 10 minutes he was on the ground. Now he has many new records. One record is for the highest jump. One record is for the fastest fall.
