BETTY'S DAY

Everyday Betty gets up at seven o'clock. She has a shower and puts on her make-up. Then she has breakfast. She has only a cup of coffee and a biscuit. At around 8 o'clock she gets in her car and goes to work. Betty lives in the suburbs and her office is in the city center. Her way to work takes nearly 1 hour because of frequent traffic jams. It's not a problem for her. She listens to the news on the radio.
She starts her work at 9 o'clock. Betty is a shop assistant in a boutique. She likes her job because she is interested in fashion and she meets a lot of interesting people. She likes to help them choose the right clothes.
At 1 o'clock she has a 20-minute break. She goes to a sandwich bar and buys a takeaway. It's usually a salad or a vegetarian sandwich. Betty is not a vegetarian but she prefers something light for lunch.
Her boutique is open to 6 o'clock. After work she usually goes shopping. She comes home at about 7:30 pm. She cooks her dinner and then she watches TV. Before she goes to bed, she has a glass of red wine and reads a book.
