Most English verbs have the following forms:

* some verbs are irregular (3rd person singular: he, she, it)
go – he GOES
do – he DOES
have – he HAS
** verbs ending with s, sh, ch take “e” before –s
kiss – he KISSES
finish – he FINISHES
touch – he TOUCHES
*** most verbs ending with y change “y” to “ie”
study – he STUDIES
fly – he FLIES
but NOT verbs like: play – he PLAYS
