DIAL ONE

Dial One is a telecommunication company which was founded in 1981 by James Lennat. He was born in 1961 into a poor family. He was a very clever boy. Fortunately, he was the winner of the Einstein Mathematic Competition when he was 17. He won a scholarship to university.
When James Lennat rented a small office to start this telecommunication company in Chicago, he was a university student and he had just $100 in his pocket. He had only one employee.
Lennat was a very successful man. He knew the market well and made good decisions. The following year he employed 5 new people and in 1985 there were 300 people working for him.
In the mid 1980s, the competition on the market started to be very tough. Mr Lennat decided to sell his company. In 1987 it was sold to a large American corporation for an incredible 99 million dollars.
After the sale, James Lennat moved out of his house in Chicago. He didn't stay in the telecomunication business. His address is not known.
