Fights in Ukrainian Parliament
There were fights in a parliament. It was in Ukraine. Some men wanted to choose a new speaker of the parliament. But some men didn’t like this speaker. They didn’t want to choose him as a speaker.
It was a second day of fights in the parliament. But not all men started to fight. Vitaly Klitschko is also in the parliament. He is a leader of one group. He didn’t fight. He was only watching the whole situation.

People are against racism in Greece
Hundreds of people from different parts of Europe met in Athens on Saturday. They wanted to demonstrate against attacks on immigrants in Greece.
A number of attacks against immigrants went up during last months. Some people say that one political party supports the attacks. The party is more and more popular in Greece but they say that they are not a neo-Naziparty.
Interesting words: party (one group of people in a parliament), support (help), neo-Nazi (somebody who believes that white people are better than people who are not white and who is often aggressive).
Many children died at school
People know more and more information about Friday's massacre in the United States. Twenty children were killed. They were twelve girls and eight boys. All children were between six and seven years old.
The man who killed them is 20 years old. His name is Adam Lanza. First he killed his mother at her home. Then he went to the school where he killed the children and also six adult women. All the women were teachers at school. Then the man killed himself.
Interesting words: massacre (moment when a lot of people are killed), adult (more than 18 years old).
Curiosity looks for life on Mars
Curiosity is a small car which is on Mars. It went to Mars six months ago. It took some new materials from the deeper parts of Mars. The material can give us information if there was life on Mars.
It wasn’t done before on any other planet in our solar system. The material was taken from a hole which was 1.6 centimetres wide and 6.4 centimetres deep. The material will go to laboratories which are in Curiosity.
The car will continue looking for places where people could see life.
