Elephant saved from a brutal owner
Anne is an elephant. Now, she has a good life at a safari park. But her life was very different some years ago. People did bad things to her. They hit her very often. People who help animals filmed Anne at the circus where she lived during the winter.
Today, the person who is the boss of the circus went to court because Anne had a bad life at his circus. Anne is OK now. She lives at the safari park. She has a great time at her new home.

Tunnel collapses in Japan
People in central Japan try to find people in the tunnel. The tunnel collapsed. Police say that five people were killed and some cars are still blocked in the tunnel.
The tunnel was built 80 kilometers west of Tokyo. The film shows the collapsed 60-metre long part of the tunnel. Drivers had big problems. They left their cars. They walked in the dark.
Smoke is coming from the tunnel because one car was on fire. People don’t know why the tunnel, which was opened in 1977, collapsed.

Four people started this race. They went down. They went down on a hill. The hill is near Niagara Falls. They went down very fast. They had hockey skates.

Big carnival is in Brazil
A big carnival started in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. It is a big celebration. People have a lot of beautiful and expensive clothes.
Many Samba schools show their dance in the festival. They want to show that they are the best of all. They walk and dance 90 minutes. Judges watch them. They will say who it the best. The celebration is for three days. Millions of people dance at parties in the streets of the city.
